Job roles and responsibilities

The role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organisations sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity. The primary role and responsibilities of a Business Development Executive include:

  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leverage your network.
  • Keep prospective client database updated 
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and companies practice leaders/Principals .
  • Adhere to Lead Generation targets on monthly basis.
  • Market Research & development of the prospective client Database.
  • Strengthen the company’s direct sales and business development capabilities.
  • Support in writing new business proposals 
  • Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company.
  • Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients. 
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission etc.

Lead Generation Executive

Responsible for working as part of a team to support the Inside Sales Representatives and Account Executives in prospecting and building a pipeline of qualified leads to meet business plans, quotas, and company objectives. The ideal candidate should be ambitious, self- motivated, detail oriented, organized, and friendly with high energy, a willingness to learn and be creative. The primary focus of this role is to provide support so the sales teams can operate effectively on a day to day basis.

THE KEY DUTIES ARE

  • Research and target prospects using a variety of sales tools.
  • Cold call in order to obtain key information from targeted prospects to meet the qualified lead criteria.
  • On a daily basis, track prospects – identify decision makers, timelines, hot-buttons, and specific qualifications and enter data accurately and consistently into the company’s database

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Critical thinking related to estimating a prospect’s interest level in the company’s solution. 
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Self-starter and goal oriented .
  • Able to work in an entrepreneurial environment 
  • High energy, positive attitude .
  • adaptable to work in multiple environments
